Accommodation in and around the village of Kritou Terra

         

Accommodation for tourists and course participants alike is normally in modernized village houses or apartments. These vary in size with 2 - 6 beds per room, and have bathroom and kitchen facilities. Bedding is provided but not towels. All of the accommodation units have heating, though this may be portable units rather than integrated central heating. A few have air-conditioning.

         

Electrical appliances connect to modern 3-pin sockets (square pin), with a 240-volt A.C. supply. The mains water supply is of very high quality and is drinkable from the tap.

In the case of visiting school groups (see educational courses), supervision in the accommodation areas needs to be provided by adults accompanying the group, as we do not normally undertake night-time supervision of pupils, except by special arrangement.

                        

The apartments or houses are spread around the village, each sleeping between 5 and 11 people, so a group of 20 students for example,  would normally need three accompanying adults. There are a number of different combinations, so there is a degree of flexibility to cater for different ratios of boys and girls. Once we know numbers and sexes, we can suggest a more detailed accommodation plan.
